Introduction

TrackRecord is developed by Mark DiFranco. This policy covers the information collected by this website. TrackRecord has not launched yet; when the app ships, this policy will be expanded to cover the app itself.

What We Collect

This website collects one thing: the email address you voluntarily enter into the early-access form. Nothing else is collected, and there are no accounts, no analytics scripts, no advertising trackers, and no cookies.

Alongside your address we store the date you signed up, so that we know the order in which to send invitations.

How We Use It

Your email address is used solely to contact you about TrackRecord — early-access invitations and launch announcements. We only send these emails because you explicitly asked for them by signing up, consistent with Canadian anti-spam legislation (CASL). Every message we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you may unsubscribe at any time.

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties, and we do not use it for any purpose beyond the above.

Retention and Deletion

Early-access addresses are kept only as long as they are needed for that purpose, and are deleted once the list has served its purpose or when you ask us to remove you — whichever comes first.

To have your address removed at any time, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

Where It Is Stored

Addresses are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Heroku, and this website is served through Cloudflare. Data may be processed on servers outside Canada; it is handled securely and in accordance with this policy wherever it resides.

Children's Privacy

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

Your Rights

You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Because we hold only your email address and signup date, these requests are straightforward — email us and we will action them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page and the "Last updated" date revised accordingly.
